A Side Project—Blending Animation, Performance, and Passion.
When I started this portfolio, I had four clear goals in mind.
First, I wanted to create a landing page that relied entirely on WebGL animations—no loading screens, no waiting, just instant visual impact.
Second, I aimed to optimize those animations so they'd run smoothly, even on older devices, without sacrificing too much quality or performance.
Third, I wanted to design a bold, oversized custom cursor to add a unique, playful touch to the user experience.
And finally, my fourth goal was to enjoy every moment of building it—and I definitely did.
Most of the work on this site was focused on the frontend, where performance and visual impact took center stage. The most challenging part was crafting a homepage that could instantly display a 3D model—completely skipping any visual loading screens. Achieving this required precise handling of resource loading and carefully orchestrating the execution of key methods to ensure that only the essential resources, libraries, and code were ready behind the scenes before rendering the first scene.
In the end, the project resulted in approximately 4,355 lines of JavaScript code, fine-tuned and optimized to the limit.
Every scene on the homepage is built around animation—it's the star of the show. While there's plenty of text and hidden settings kept out of view, these extras are intentionally low-key. Curious visitors can dig deeper, but for everyone else, it's all about enjoying the visuals without distractions.
This site also respects your privacy. It doesn't use third-party cookies, trackers, or any intrusive scripts—just minimal, GDPR-compliant analytics to keep things running smoothly. My goal was simple: let visitors explore and experience the site freely, without worrying about being watched. It's web design with creativity in focus—and privacy built-in.
